We are not a marketplace. We are a real, named crew that brings a genuinely funny, professionally run show into your building.
Put On Events started in 2020, built by Chicago comedian Tyler Ross out of years spent hosting events in apartment communities. The idea was simple: put a real comedian in the room, and a resident night stops being an obligation and becomes something people ask for.
Since then the crew has run 500-plus events across 64 properties and 17 states, for communities managed by names like Lincoln Property Company. Bingo, trivia, comedy, karaoke, game shows, and hands-on experiences, all hosted by people who do this for a living.
The handoff
Tyler is handing Put On Events to Dylan Scott, his longtime comedy partner and friend. This is continuity, not a reset: the same crew, the same standard, the person Tyler personally trusts to carry it. Dylan is an Oklahoma-born, Chicago stand-up whose credits include the Edinburgh Fringe and HGTV's House Hunters.
